We’re excited to announce a new chapter for Rhovan, marked by a refreshed logo and new brand essence that encapsulates our commitment to setting the benchmark for a sustainable future. For 35 years, Rhovan has been a responsible vanadium producer, a key element in building a clean economy. We believe Rhovan is a benchmark of a safe, responsible and sustainable vanadium mine – tangible example of what a sustainable future will look like as we transition to a green low-carbon economy.
A New Brand, A New Era
We are now reflecting this commitment by unveiling a new brand and logo. We believe our new brand embodies our core values of Responsibility, Integrity, Openness, Entrepreneurialism, Simplicity, and Safety to really set the benchmark for what a sustainable future looks like for South Africa and the continent. In addition, our new logo strengthens the connection between Rhovan and its parent company. This continuity reinforces the trust and credibility associated with the Glencore brand, further solidifying Rhovan’s position in the industry.
Actions, Not Just Words
Our refreshed brand essence and logo mirrors our dedication to action. We are accelerating the construction of a brand new 25MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant right here at our site. This solar plant is more than just generating clean energy for our operations – it’s a statement of purpose.
The solar plant will significantly reduce our carbon footprint while supporting our local communities. We’ve partnered with small and medium-sized enterprises for construction and installation, fostering economic development alongside environmental responsibility. This project is a powerful symbol of our transition from fossil fuels to a green future, benefiting everyone.
This rebrand is more than just a new logo – it’s a declaration of Rhovan’s commitment to being a benchmark for a sustainable future. We’re excited for this new chapter and the positive impact it will have on our environment, our communities, and the vanadium industry as a whole.
